Project Name: SUNPUBS
Jan, 2026 Present

The hospitality holding group SUNPUBS operates 8+ beloved brands with locations speckled all along South and Central Florida.

I have had the oppurtunity to develop the brand identities of each distinct brand while working alongside a determined marketing team to produce print ready graphics files for the following brands.

Caddy’s:
After having weathered the storms of hurricane Milton & Helene in Fall of 2024, several of SUNPUBS’ locations were severly impacted to the point of temperary closure.

I had the exciting oppurtunity of developing announcement graphics, fresh menu layouts, and promotional material to reinforce the brand’s voice and communicate the grand re-opening of the Treasure Island Caddy’s location.

The Island Grille (Formerly The Island Grille & Raw Bar):
Catering to devoted local customers Island Grille offers daily live music, poolside tiki bar, and a wide selection of raw or prepared oysters. We wanted to give the brand a more distinct voice.

For this brand, I developed a prompt framework to produce consistent illustrations for use across marketing materials. The visual language is inspired by 15th and 16th century nautical copperplate engravings, while being adapted for a contemporary brand identity.

Because large language models are trained on historical visual references that often underrepresent diverse populations, the prompts intentionally specify people of color when generating human subjects. This was done to produce imagery that better reflects a contemporary audience while maintaining the historical engraving aesthetic.
ChatGPT 2.0 Prompt:
A 19th century copperplate etching of a 4 Jovial mariner man and women in maritime attire, some fisherman, some sailors. The four of them are cheering and carrying on over a small round wooden table with enough space for the adorned with an oil lantern and to place the drinks with seagulls silhouettes in the far distance. One man is of african decent and one women is of eastern asian decent. The composition is centered and minimal, with little to no background detail. Rendered entirely in fine line hatching and cross-hatching. No color, no gradients, no halftone dots, no embossing, and no painterly effects. All tonal variation is achieved through controlled line density and directional engraving marks. The male sailor is depicted with, directional hatch strokes that follow the form of its beard, with simplified massing instead of beard detail. The shirt is lightly shaded with directional lines following fabric tension, precise linear strokes. The water is constructed using horizontal, broken line work with varied spacing to suggest gentle movement. Reeds are indicated with quick, slightly irregular vertical strokes. Shadows are deepened with selective cross-hatching, using tighter line spacing in darker areas and open spacing in highlights. Lines are thin, consistent, and precise, with subtle imperfections such as slight wobble, minor over-extensions, and irregular spacing to simulate authentic hand-engraved copperplate technique. on pure whitesimplify the illustration moreso each of the individuals in the image should be middle aged and thicken the line quality similar to the image attached in this chat
